The Perfume of the Lady In Black (1974)

This 1974 giallo, The Perfume Of The Lady In Black, was directed and co-scripted by Francesco Barilli (director of Hotel Fear and co-screen writer of The Man from the Deep River) and offers up a particularly arty and dream like Euro-thriller. Mimsy Farmer stars as an industrial research scientist who becomes increasingly unhinged and subject to frightening hallucinations after becoming friendly with possible witches following the recent suicide of her mother. Worth a viewing.
